Al Ain City Municipality inaugurated its main square in its new look, coinciding with the launch of the second edition of “Ramadan in Al Ain” events, drawing a large public turnout and a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere that reflected the spirit and authentic values of the holy month. The opening ceremony featured spectacular fireworks, and drone shows that created stunning moving light displays, captivating the audience and adding a modern touch to the celebration.
Maitha Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Events Section, stated that this year’s “Ramadan in Al Ain” comes with a renewed identity carrying a distinctive creative vision, clearly reflected in the site’s design and visual details. The design elements were inspired by the fluidity and warmth of sand dunes, as well as traditional windows with authentic heritage patterns.
The stage hosted a variety of cultural and heritage competitions inspired by local traditions, presented in an interactive format that allows direct audience participation, alongside entertainment segments that enhance awareness of national identity.
