Al Ain City Municipality launched the “Moments from Al Ain” initiative on Saturday, covering four main oases: Hili, Al Muʿtareḍ, Al Qattara, and Al Jimi. The initiative runs until 28 February and aims to stimulate tourism and revive heritage sites.
Five commercial brands are participating, offering exceptional hospitality experiences within authentic heritage settings, along with interactive activities and programs designed for various community segments. The initiative focuses on highlighting the historical and cultural significance of the oases.
Elyazia Al Darmaki, Project Manager of the initiative, explained that its goal is to revive heritage sites and present them as fully integrated tourist destinations by attracting distinguished commercial brands and organizing diverse activities. She noted that this contributes to boosting tourism and commercial activity, enhancing Al Ain’s position on the cultural and natural tourism map, and creating an attractive environment that supports quality of life.
She emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Municipality’s vision to provide new investment opportunities and revive heritage in a modern manner that blends authenticity with innovation. She added that the accompanying events offer visitors a unique experience combining entertainment, shopping, and learning about the city’s cultural legacy.
